The trademark VD ONE was created by the English company VD ONE Limited ( 17 Dartmouth Street, London, England ) that specializes for more than 15 years in design development, modelling and production of menswear, releasing to the market almost the full list of clothes for men : formal, casual, parkas and raincoats, underwear.

The design centre of VD ONE Limited is based in London. It is over there, in the heart of the most advanced fashion developments, where the new collections of the trademark are created. The main characteristics of the English fashion are the practical and functional features enhanced to a style.The most comfortable and at the same time very contemporary clothes became an intrinsic feature of the British design. Just these features of VD ONE menswear made it so popular in many European countries.

In the mid 90 s the management of the company turned its eyes to the markets of the Eastern Europe and the former Soviet republics. At that time an unusual situation was ruling at these markets — under the new economic conditions the new social generation of young and active male enterpreneurs was formed while the menswear fashion was frozen and became old-fashioned — the way it looked and the way it was produced.

At that time many young men were looking for the new and modern clothing, produced from high-quality fabrics but at affordable price. The suit was worn by these businessmen not only for a graduation party and an evening in opera but on an everyday basic as their new jobs reguired represantative looks. The same concerned the casual clothes and knitwear. In one word, the new generation of businessmen needed the new type of clothes — contemporary, practical, comfortable, fashionable and in choice of colour.

The Ukraine became one of the Easteuropean countries where the clothes of VD ONE Limited are in a constant high demand. The dymanics of sales growth were so stable that in 1996 a decision was made to open a representative office of VD ONE Limited in the Ukraine — VD ONE company with a design centre.
